The Young Israel Youth Department is now using Google Calendar to manage upcoming event dates. This means that you can be reminded of upcoming youth events without even visiting this web site! There are a number of ways that you can stay on top of what's happening in the YIH Youth Department:
- Visit our web site, HollywoodJewishYouth.com and click on the Calendar link in the main menu. (It's the old way, but it still works!)
- If you are already a Google Calendar user, follow these instructions. If you're not sure how to copy and paste text, instructions are included at the end of this article.
a. Highlight and copy this address:

b. Log into your Google Calendar c. In the left margin, under "Other Calendars" locate the field labeled "Add a friend's calendar" d. Paste the text into that field and hit "Enter" e. If you use a mobile device that syncs with your Google Calendar, you may need to add the YIH Youth calendar to your device. Once you've followed the steps above, this can be done in the calendar settings area of your mobile device.
- If you use any calendar program (such as Outlook) search the program's Help area to learn how to add a calendar in the iCal format. When prompted for the iCal address, copy and paste the red text below into the program.
